Problem: What are the AT Commands for Rockwell modem chip sets?

Solution:  To summarize AT command syntax:

  • Multiple commands can be strung together in one line.
  • Command lines cannot exceed 40 upper-lower-case characters (Do not mix upper- and lower-case letters).  Spaces and hyphens are ignored.
  • Command lines must start with AT and end with a carriage return.
  • A missing command parameter is assumed to be zero.  For example ATH is the same as ATH0.
  • To switch to local AT command mode, type +++ and wait at least one second to enter AT commands, type ATO and press Enter to return to data mode.
  • To switch to remote AT command mode, type %%%AT <enter> Take control of remote modem.  Type ATO and press Enter to return to data mode. If prompted for a remote password try MODEMSETUP
